Pierre Belleville (Amiens, 1978) is drummer in Lofofora. Pierre grew up in an artistic family (circus, dance, theatre). He started drumming at age seven at the Dante Agostini school of Orleans. He studied the instrument there during ten years, under the wings of teachers Dominique Deverge and Jean Brissard. Concurrently to his training, Pierre did not neglect bands' work, as he played different groups, rock 'n' roll, funk, or jazz. It was from there that his taste for the crossbreeding of the musical styles was born.
In 1995, he carried out one year of improvement at the CMCN and its professional drummers including Franck Aghulon, Patrick Buchmann, Andre Charlier, Alain Gozzo and Felix Sabaleco.
At 18 years old, Pierre Belleville taught drums in the Rock 'n' roll School of Bordeaux. During these 4 years, he played in several bands of hardcore and metal like Asgard with which he recorded 5 cds and made his first French tour. At the end of this rich period of creation, he integrated the band Yo! Pizaa Jump for a Canadian tour and the recording of their second album.
In 2000 Dirk Verbeuren contacted Pierre to replace him within the French metal band Artsonic (signed by WEA). With them, he carried out two French tours and took part in the recording of their third album 'Fashion Victim'.
